NAEC Update New Orleans

Amidst the questions and concerns about the surge in Corona Virus cases in New Orleans, we wanted to reassure you that we are closely monitoring the situation and will always be making decisions in the best interest of our members’ health and safety. Based on our ongoing updates and information, we believe that we can safely host an in-person show.

Regarding our current attendance information—we are running well ahead of anticipated registration numbers as compared to our last in-person meeting in 2019:

Number of Registrants

2021: 878

2019: 517

Exhibitors

2021: 156

2019: 201

We value your business goals and that is the main reason we are keeping our eyes open, but forward facing, so we can continue to bring you events that are valuable to the growth and impact of your business. Your investment is important to us and we understand the concerns of all.

As our partner in success, we would like to ask you to have patience and pay attention to developments, and also trust that we have your best interests at the forefront of all that we do. As of today, we are considering widening our aisles, we are taking a look at mask mandates, and we are exploring a number of sanitizing protocols.

As the situation develops and improves, and as vaccination rates continue to soar in NOLA, we will keep you updated with all that we know from the local governing leaders in the Southeast.

We are looking forward to seeing you in October!
