Why give?
Our initiatives to educate the public through Safe-T Rider, A Safe Ride and National Elevator Safety Awareness Week are successfully reaching millions of riders and it is in large part because of the support from the Foundation's members.
We must continue to build on the successes of programs like Safe-T Rider, whose message reached more than four million five hundred thousand students in North American since it began 1991. Our efforts to drive home the elevator and escalator safety message are proving extremely effective; especially among the two groups most prone to accidents involving elevators and escalators - young children and the elderly. Public education is a key component in the goal to reduce the number of elevator and escalator accidents to zero and, thanks to your contributions; we are moving steadily toward that goal.
Please consider donating to the EESF or EESFC to safeguard our loved ones by sending a contribution to the Foundation. If only one child or senior citizen is spared injury because of an EESF program, the effort made by each of us would be justified a thousand fold.
